Electric Actuation

 

Union Marine Electric Actuator are suitable for controlling 0°~270° rotation of the valves and other similar products, such as butterfly valve, ball valve, damper, flapper valve, etc.

The Electric Actuators are of robust design and construction. The housing is hard anodised Aluminium Alloy and external epoxy coated to provides superior resistance for rigorous environments.

Each Electric Actuator is fitted with a specially designed squirrel cage induction motor to generate high starting torque and is fitted with thermal overload protection to prevent damage from overheating. Included internally are both torque and limit switches for remote indication.

Our Electric Actuators are supplied standard with manual override and external operating clutch lever that switches the actuator to manual mode. The clutch lever is automatically disengaged when switched to electrical operation.

The gear mechanism is self-locking to eliminate the possibility of reverse movement from the valve.

Our design features ISO mountings and removable drive bushing that allows easy adaption to suit most valve requirements.

A wide range of optional accessories including extra limit switches, potentiometer, process control unit, local control and signal indication are available to suits project requirements and electric operated valve functions.

Selection of operation by 440V/220V/110V AC power or 24V/110V DC power. Inputs 4-20mA current signal or 0-10V DC voltage signal as control signal for modulating control.

The AOX series electric actuator are available in IP66/67 construction.

The CHQ series electric actuator comes with CE and explosion-proof certificate suitable for hazardous area installation, Zone 0 / Class1 Div 1 applications. Torque output available from 100Nm to 3,000Nm.

 

Data Processing Cabinet

Union Marine Remote Control Valve System Data Processing Cabinet processes the control and monitoring signals and necessary communication between electrical devices and intelligent devices and computer based control stations.

The raw data collected from field equipment are converted to signals for interface with PLC based systems.

Our configuration provides monitoring and control functions necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the Remote Control Valve System in accordance with the standards of marine classification.
